LAND PUNJAB REVENUE ACT 1967
The Land (Punjab) Revenue Act, 1967 was enacted on December 7, 1967, and was later amended for the province of Punjab to consolidate and amend land revenue laws in Punjab. It expedites the consolidation and maintenance of the record of rights, the assessment and collection of land revenue, the appointment of land officers, and all matters relating to and arising from land revenue administration.
This Act also provides each province with its own set of laws governing the recording of property rights and changes. Moreover, lays out the entire organization and hierarchy of Pakistan's land and revenue department.
The regulation, which is one of Pakistan's most important property laws, discusses the various powers delegated to the various land and revenue department offices, as well as their respective jurisdictions. It also instructs on the collection of land revenue and covers important topics such as surveying, boundary marking, partitions, and arbitrations.
